Congregation Beth-El was founded as a Conservative Synagogue in the Town of Mount Royal over 50 years ago. In the Conservative Movement, we believe in all the traditional customs of Judaism, including all the laws of the Torah, strict Kashruth, observance of all the 613 Mitzvot.
Because we believe that the family should pray together, we seat the family together in the Sanctuary. We encourage participation in our services by those who attend. |
We are defined by the fact that we are led by the most amazing, warm and giving spiritual leader in the city of Montréal, our very own Rabbi Ronnie Cahana who has chosen Beth-El as his lifelong career.
We are defined by the fact that we have an exceptional Cantor Benny Moshaev, who cares about his contribution to the service.
We are defined by the fact that we are a family Shul where we pray together as families…our sons have Bar-Mitzvahs and our daughters have Bat-Mitzvahs.
